My thoughts about "Thank God I'm Natural":

This is a lovely book, easy to read a very personable. It reads very much like a natural hair blog chronicling Chris-tia's relaxed years, her transition to natural hair and her thoughts on finally becoming natural. I enjoyed reading her thoughts and stories, which many of us will be able to relate to. She speaks candidly about wearing wigs in order to fit in during her career (Law) and how she became addicted to them.

Her accounts and fears about her natural hair were very familiar and make this book an awesome gift for those who are newly natural and for those considering going natural.

Who do I think this book is best suited for?
Those who are just beginning their natural hair journey and those who are considering it. It is filled with uplifting words and stories to help one overcome their fears about cutting off the relaxer and starting fresh.

Price: $10.00 from the TGIN Store.

Would I have purchased this book?
Yes, I would. I really enjoyed the book. It is a great read, not too deep and gives great resources for those looking for products want to make their own. She also includes an ingredient list with a listing of ingredients that could be harmful to your hair. It was really like sitting down and reading a personal natural hair blog.

If you know someone who is struggling with their natural hair please purchase this book for them. "Thank God I'm Natural" is also great tog give to your relaxed friends as well. We all need a confidence boost every once in a while.
