0 My definition of natural hair

There has been a bit of chatter...well there has ALWAYS been chatter in the natural hair community about what it truly means to be or go natural.

What does being natural or natural hair mean, to me?

It simply means, I do not have a relaxer in my hair. Simple as that.

What is not natural, to me?

Relaxed, texlaxed, texturized, anything that someone does to their hair to relax the curl. I don't care if it only relaxes the curl for 2 days and then you wash it out, while your hair has that chemical in it, it isn't natural to me. Like the Brazilian Keratin Treatment.

Hair color? I don't even care. Eat junk food? I don't care. As long as the hair on your head is in it's natural curly state, the way it grew out of your head without any chemicals added to it, you have natural hair in my eyes.
