0 Product Review- Summer Love Butter by Safi Haircare

Alex of The Good Hair Blog and owner of Safi Hair Care sent me her Summer Love Butter to review.

Ingredients: Lemon Butter, Hibiscus Petal Powder, Castor Oil, Vegetable Glycerin, Aloe Vera Gel, Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Tucuma Butter and Fragrance

What I liked:

• The ingredients look great, I will admit I was nervous about the lemon butter but, I do love the fact that this has hibiscus powder which is known to strengthen & condition hair. All of the ingredients are vegan and all natural.
• Smells like lemon cookies, which is nice and the smell is not too strong and over powering.
• Adds nice shine.
• Doesn't weigh my hair down.

What I did not like:

• It was a bit greasy/ oily on my hair. 
• The lemon butter- my hair likes all the ingredients except the lemon butter and I think with that being the main ingredient (going by the ingredient list) it may be too much of it in the mix for my hair.

Would I purchase?

I could see this being great for those who need something to add a bit of shine to their hair. It reminds me of a glosser or serum that you would use for flat ironing or blow drying. It was light weight and didn't cause buildup. May also be great for those who have locs, it gives shine but doesn't have build-up. It isn't heavy at all and it is easy to wash out.
