0 Hair Care: Kinky Twists, Protective Style

Kinky Twists are my "go to" protective style. My hair is very fine or thin or whatever it means to not be full and thick... So when I do 2 strands twists with my natural hair they always look very thin and just not cute. So because of this I like adding synthetic hair to my twists.

For this set of twists I used Janet Collections Marley Braid hair. I liked the hair a lot and will be using it again.

In the past, I have used the "Afro Nubian" hair for nubian twists, which are shorter more "realistic" looking twists but, I find that my hair is too long for that hair. If you are a beginner to twisting with synthetic hair and have shorter hair, try Nubian Hair.

This is a quick an easy protective style. All I do is spray my hair and scalp with my Jane Carter Revitalizing Leave-In and go on with my life. I will be keeping these in until they fall out.... I do not miss my curls, at all. I am so busy, I'm glad I have my hair in this style so my hair can still be taken care of.

This is how I wear my hair on a daily basis: The Bun

Also, to add more hair laziness to this already lazy style...you ready for this? I didn't even twist the middle of my head. Yes. I just put 3-4 twist/braids in the middle. Oh yes. My hair may be fine but, my head is big and by the time I got to the middle I was tired.

It's okay to judge me. I deserve it.

I am trying to see how much growth I can get while wearing twists until August. It's some kind of challenge that I will have to post about later b/c I can't find the link.

As always thanks for reading!! Do you have your hair in a protective style? What is it? Do you protective style? Like it? Miss your curls? Let me know in the comments!
